Nicest day of the week – 4/10/18

TODAY: Our weather will be mostly sunny and warm around Southern Colorado today. Highs will be in the 60s and 70s and you won’t notice too much of a strong breeze. Enjoy it while it lasts!

TONIGHT: Skies will be mostly clear tonight and lows cool to the 30s and 40s. Places in the mountains could dip into the 20s.

EXTENDED: Fire danger will be high to critical both Wednesday and Thursday. Red flag warnings are in place for the area both days as fire weather ingredients come together. Fuels are dry and relative humidity values will be low. A wind alert level 1 is out for Wednesday which means gusts into the 40s. A level 2 is in place for Thursday as we will likely see winds gusting into the 50s. Highs both days will be well into the 70s and 80s, incredibly warm for this time of year. A low pressure system tracks through on Friday which will bring our fire danger down. A few showers are also possible.
