Free cones at Ben & Jerry’s Tuesday – yes, Colorado Springs has one

Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream is celebrating its 40th Free Cone Day Tuesday, and if the name wasn’t obvious, that means you can get a free serving of whatever flavor you’d like at participating scoop shops.

There are five locations in Colorado, and Springs residents won’t have to drive up to the metroplex to get a free treat. The Great Wolf Lodge Resort has a Ben & Jerry’s Scoop Shop, and it’s taking part in the promotion from noon to 8 p.m. Tuesday. ( MAP )
