Cheyenne Mountain Zoo vying for ‘Best Zoo’ in America

Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in Colorado Springs is once again in the running for Best Zoo in North America, and the zoo hopes to earn enough votes for another top-10 finish.

Last year, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo was voted as the sixth-best AZA-accredited zoo in North America. The zoo boasts more than 750 animals of 170 species from around the world, and it’s the U.S.’ only mountain zoo.
