More red flag warnings – 4/4/18

TODAY: More red flag warnings are out for Canon City, Pueblo and the eastern plains until 8PM. This is due to gusty winds between 30-40 mph. It won’t be as breezy in other locations, but fire danger precautions should still be taken seriously. Highs will be in the 60s and 70s today, much warmer than our chilly Tuesday afternoon.

TONIGHT: We will be partly to mostly cloudy overnight and lows cool to the 30s.

EXTENDED: Tomorrow still looks very mild with a mix of clouds and sunshine. By Friday, we are tracking some pretty big changes! A cold front will be pushing in which brings the area rain and snow showers, along with cooler highs. This likely won’t be a high impact event due to the warm ground temperatures as of late. We will keep you updated into the coming days. Skies dry out for a time on Saturday before a few more showers move in on Sunday.
