Man sought after armed robbery at Divide convenience store

Teller County deputies need your help identifying a man who robbed an Alta convenience store late Monday night in Divide.

It happened around 10:40 p.m. when the suspect demanded cash and cigarettes at gunpoint. The suspect then took the clerk’s cell phone and the store’s phone, along with the money and cigarettes. The two phones were later found along Highway 24.

The suspect is pictured on the left in the image above, but the Teller County Sheriff’s Office is also looking for information on the person of interest, pictured on the right.
