Quiet weather pattern – 3/29/18

TODAY: High temperatures will be in the 40s and 50s today under spring sunshine. A disturbance will be passing through the area this afternoon which could bring a few isolated showers to the far eastern plains. Chances aren’t very high and most of the day looks dry.

TONIGHT: We will be partly cloudy overnight with lows dropping into the teens and 20s.

EXTENDED: Tomorrow looks like it could bring elevated fire danger, but red flag warnings will not likely be issued. We warm up some through Friday out ahead of a cold front. This passes through over Easter Weekend and allows for slightly cooler holiday temperatures. Rain or snow is not expected but skies will be partly to mostly cloudy. By next week, highs soar back into the 60s and 70s under dry sunshine.
