Quiet weather day – 03/29/18

Today: Highs will be reaching the 40s and 50s across southern Colorado. Partly sunny skies and generally quiet weather is expected. A disturbance from the north may spark some isolated rain showers in the eastern plains, but any showers look to be incredibly spotty and light. Beyond that, we’re gearing up for a dry day with some breezes in the high country.

Tonight: Partly cloudy skies are expected overnight. Lows drop to the 20s and 30s for the lower elevations with the teens for the high country.

Extended: Temperatures boost to the 60s and 70s in the lower terrain on Friday! Westerly, downsloping winds will warm us up. However, it will also be breezy and dry. This will elevate fire danger, but the risk won’t be high enough to require any Red Flag Warnings. This upcoming Easter weekend, weather looks to be mild (albeit slightly breezy on Sunday). Temperatures range in the 50s and 60s.
