Quiet Night Ahead 3-27-18

TONIGHT: Showers have ended with skies continuing to clear. Temps will drop through the 30s this evening with most places in the 20s by early tomorrow.

TOMORROW: Wednesday starts quiet with plenty of sunshine. Temps warm to the 30s and 40s for our mountain cities. Most of the Pikes Peak Region climbs to the 40s and 50s with 50s and 60s elsewhere in Southern Colorado. Cloud cover will then begin increasing during the mid morning and early afternoon as our next storm begin to arrive. This will bring some scattered rain and snow showers to Teller and El Paso counties by the afternoon with snow for the Sangres, Wets and Beulah Valley. Off and on showers will continue into early Thursday. The Southeastern Plains is likely to see a rain and snow mix with even a few thunderstorms possible. Accumulations look light, but El Paso and Teller counties may see an additional inch or two.

EXTENDED: Quiet weather returns for Thursday with cooler temperatures. Highs warm to the 40s and 50s. Warmer by Friday as we’re back in the 50s and 60s. A few showers are possible during Easter weekend but it does look like most areas stay dry. Temps will drop on Easter with highs likely in the 30s, 40s and 50s.
