Monument police looking for gunman in 7-Eleven robbery

Monument police are looking for a suspect who robbed a 7-Eleven at gunpoint early Tuesday.

It happened around 6 a.m. at the store on Hwy 105 near 3rd Street, police said in a news release. A white or Hispanic man walked in, pointed a handgun at the clerk, and demanded money before fleeing on foot.

The suspect was wearing a black hoodie, dark blue pants, and black and white shoes. No one was injured during the robbery.
