3 arrested, 1 sought in Colorado Springs robbery spree

Colorado Springs police have arrested three suspects and identified a fourth involved in eight robberies in the Springs and one in Monument over the last week and a half.

Springs police said Tuesday that Lindsey Lea Aldrich, 29, Jose Diaz Martinez, 27, and Victor Hugo Diaz, 37 were arrested, and a warrant was issued for 22-year-old Roberto Carlos Cossio.

CSPD says the four were involved in five aggravated robberies and three attempted robberies. An old mugshot of Aldrich was released immediately, but police said the additional mugshots would be released later Tuesday. ( PHOTOS )

The first three happened on March 17, when they attempted to rob a Days Inn and a Circle K station. They then successfully robbed a Kum & Go station.

On March 21, the group robbed a 7-Eleven and a food truck, and attempted to rob a Subway restaurant, according to police. Then on March 22, the group robbed another Kum & Go station.

We reported on two of these robberies last week when police had descriptions of two of the suspects.

Information on the Monument robbery wasn’t made available. Their bonds will be determined at a sentencing hearing at a later date.
