Two Pueblo kids are hoping for a shot at the NFL

For Keith Hed and Ty McCulley they are hoping the NFL is within their reach, “I trained long for three months for this,” says Pueblo Central graduate Ty McCulley, “I’ve been preparing for month now,” says Pueblo West graduate Keith Hed. This is the ultimate job interview isn’t it? “Oh yeah this is the biggest day of my life,” says Hed. Last night when you went to bed how tough was it to sleep?
“I couldn’t sleep at all man too much nervousness and I think I was just laying there all night just worried about today what was I going to do good at what could I do better I couldn’t sleep through the night that’s basically what it was,” says McCulley.

Two Broncos scouts where in charge of today’s pro day and as we all know the Broncos could use some help on the o-line, McCulley and Hed are both lineman. “I’m a Colorado kid I was born here raise here so you know so if I’m able to play in Denver and I would love that it’s only a two hour drive my mother could come see me play if that’s an opportunity that happens I’m definitely going to take it, says McCulley, “I did think about that a little bit to play for them would be great to play for anyone would be great wherever I go is going to be home, says Hed. The two Pueblo kids just want a shot at the NFL, “I think about that actually quite a bit I mean what that’s going to do for the community to have two guys playing in the NFL it would do a lot for the kids self esteem them growing up and saying if those two guys made maybe I can, says Hed,
“I’m a Bessemer kid so being from Pueblo and being able to represent Pueblo is an honor. If I get to make something of this I’m definitely going to let people know where I’m from,” says McCulley.
