Police identify man who shot victim in Security before committing suicide

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office released the identity of the man who shot a person just east of Security before killing himself early Sunday.

Alexander Noy, 27, is suspected of walking into a bedroom and shooting a victim multiple times before taking his own life, witnesses told police.

It happened around 4:50 a.m. Sunday in the 7300 block of Bonterra Lane.

The victim is still in critical condition, the sheriff’s office says.
