Fire at the Pueblo Chemical Depot is fully contained

At this time, the Pueblo Chemical Depot fire is fully contained. The structure fire destroyed building 576 and 581 with minimal damage to a third warehouse and zero serious injuries.

One Depot employee was taken to the hospital with smoke inhalation.

The Pueblo Chemical Depot says there is still zero access to the area as of Monday morning. The Depot thanked the City of Pueblo, Pueblo County, TTCI, West park, Rural E83 and P84, Pueblo West and Rye.

An investigation will soon begin and will look into the cause of the fire and assess the damage.
