T-Rex wrecked by electrical fire at Royal Gorge Dinosaur Experience

An electrical fire destroyed a T-Rex model at the Royal Gorge Dinosaur Experience outside Canon City.

A video shows the flames crawling up the fake dinosaur’s scales, but the exhibit says the fire was an isolated incident.

Nobody was injured in the fire, thankfully, though only a husk of a T-Rex frame remained.

The Royal Gorge Dinosaur Exhibit says they’ve contacted the manufacturer of the T-Rex and hope to have a replacement by the summer.
