WATCH: Heartwarming ‘Carpool Karaoke’ video for World Down Syndrome Day

A video about 50 mothers, 50 kids, and 1 extra chromosome is raising awareness to Down syndrome.

March 21 is World Down Syndrome Day, and a ‘Carpool Karaoke’ video is being recognized and praised by people everywhere.

Late-night TV host James Corden, who is known for his “Carpool Karaoke” segment, called it “the most beautiful Carpool Karaoke ever.”

The video shows 50 mothers and their children with down syndrome lip syncing and using sign language to follow along with “A Thousand Years” by Christina Perri.

Perri even gave the video a shout-out, saying, “I’m so honored they chose my song!”

The moms involved are all part of a Facebook group named “Designer Genes” created for parents who have a child with Down syndrome.
