Nice Night Ahead 3-21-18

TONIGHT: A few high clouds will linger overnight with winds slightly elevated. This will keep lows milder, in the 20s and 30s.

TOMORROW: A much warmer day is expected as highs rise 10-15 degrees. High valleys warm to the 50s and 60s with 70s and even 80s for the plains. Skies will be mostly sunny to partly sunny. More clouds arrive for the evening as winds increase. It will be breezy through the evening.

EXTENDED: Temperatures still remain very warm on Friday and above average. Passing clouds will continue but winds will increase significantly. With wind gusts to 45 mph and higher, a Fire Weather Watch has been issued for most areas to account for the high fire danger. Heading in to the weekend there will still be periods of breezy conditions. Temps will cool slightly with cloudy skies at times. Highs will be in the 50s for the high valleys and 60s and 70s for the lower elevations. Fire danger will remain elevated. A low pressure center will move near by Monday and Tuesday generating some shower chances and cooler temps. Stay tuned for the latest updates to this part of the forecast.
