Spring Began Today 3-20-18

TONIGHT: Skies overnight will be partly cloudy to mostly clear. Overnight lows become seasonable falling to the 20s.

TOMORROW: Wednesday will be a warmer day with highs slightly above average. 50s and 60s will be common with mostly sunny to partly sunny skies.

EXTENDED: A really big warm up kicks in for Thursday as highs soar to the 50s and 60s for our mountain cities and high valleys. 60s and 70s are expected across the plains. Winds will increase some, but should stay below wind alert criteria thus keeping the fire danger below critical levels. By Friday, temperatures are even a little warmer, but winds are also stronger so it looks likely to see fire weather highlights. Temperatures will cool off into the weekend with snow expected in the high country.
