Quiet and Cold Night 3-19-18

TONIGHT: Remaining mountain snow showers will wind down overnight with gradually clearing skies. Winds will also become lighter allowing lows to the fall to the teens and 20s.

TOMORROW: Spring officially begins at 10:15 AM and while it will be a beautiful day, spring-like temps will come later in the week. Highs tomorrow will be a few degrees warmer than today with 40s and 50s in the Pikes Peak Region and higher terrain. Parts of the Southeast Plains will see highs closer to 60. Skies will be mostly sunny with lighter winds!

EXTENDED: Temperatures will be a few degrees warmer on Wednesday with dry conditions and mostly sunny skies. The spring-like warmth really arrives by Thursday with highs in the 60s and 70s. Winds will begin to increase, especially by Friday. Gusty winds with dry conditions and highs in the 60s and 70s will bring back high fire danger Friday. Temps will then cool off some for the weekend with snow expected for parts of the High Country.
