Four arrested in major pot operation in El Paso County

Four men were arrested in connection with several pot busts in El Paso County that resulted in the confiscation of nearly 1,000 marijuana plants on Wednesday.

Geordano Ramos-Viera, Yunierqui Crespo-Pena, Didier De La Riva-Gil, and Yohandi Vasallo-Cruz have been booked into the El Paso County Jail on offenses relating to marijuana.

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office with the help of the DEA, ICE, and members of tactical teams from Colorado Springs Police Department and Fountain Police Department executed 10 search warrants total.

Six were in unincorporated El Paso County, three were in the city limits of Colorado Springs and one was in Fountain. A total of 900 marijuana plants were seized.
