Google Maps integrates Mario Kart into app
Turn your commute into a trip down Rainbow Road with Google Maps this weekend.
Starting on Mario Day, which is March 10, Google Maps will make their street view look like a race in Mario Kart. On Friday, March 9, the app tweeted a screencap from Venice, Calif, showing smiling banana peels in the middle of the road.

To be Mario on your drive, all you have to do is follow these steps:
(Note: Make sure your phone is updated)
1. Go to Google Maps
2. Pick your location
3. Hit the “Directions” button
4. Push the Mario question mark next to the start button

Google is also asking drivers to share photos of their races on Instagram and Twitter with @GoogleMaps using the hashtag #MarioMaps.
This option will be available until March 17.
