Highway 50 reopened after wreck east of Fowler

UPDATE: Highway 50 was reopened by about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday after both lanes were closed due to a rollover wreck about a mile east of Fowler.

Earlier:

Highway 50 was shut down Tuesday about one mile east of Fowler due to a rollover wreck involving a semi.

Colorado State Patrol says the semi was hauling wind turbine equipment when it rolled around 4 a.m.

No injuries were reported, but the roadway was still shut down as of 12:30 p.m. as crews worked to clear the area.

Alternate routes to take would be CO-96 or CO-167.
