Cooler yet mild today – 03/13/18
Today: Temperatures across southern Colorado will be cooler thanks to a cold front yesterday evening. Highs will reach the 40s and 50s. We’ll stick with partly to mostly sunny skies and mild conditions. Enjoy the crisp but lovely weather!
Tonight: Mainly clear skies are anticipated overnight. Lows drop to the 20s and 30s. Grab the jacket as you’re stepping outdoors!
Extended: Temperatures warm up big time Wednesday through Friday thanks to southwesterly winds ahead of an area of low pressure to our west. Highs will soar to the 60s and 70s on Wednesday. By Thursday, some in the eastern plains could boost to the 80s! (Can you believe we’re still in March?!) Unfortunately, fire danger will be elevated Thursday through Saturday thanks to primarily dry and gusty conditions. This upcoming weekend, while mountains could see showers, the lower elevations look to dodge storms.
