Colorado Springs police investigating car fire

Colorado Springs police are investigating a car fire Monday morning.

The fire happened on North Prospect Street, near Mann Middle School.

Officers were responding to reports of an explosion and fire and found the vehicle fully engulfed in flames.

Nobody was inside.

Police later discovered the vehicle had been stolen from its owner but wasn’t reported.

There is no suspect information
