Tracking More Storms Monday

Overnight: Showers and thunderstorms will continue to weaken and push east through the early part of the overnight. Most of Southern Colorado will quiet down with skies gradually clearing by Monday morning. Overnight lows fall into the 50s and 60s.

Monday-Wednesday: Monday stays warm with another chance for showers and thunderstorms during the afternoon and evening. Colorado Springs will climb back into the upper 80s, with Pueblo and the plains reaching the 90s.

Moisture increases more noticeably Tuesday and Wednesday, bringing better chances for showers and thunderstorms across Southern Colorado. Heavy rain will remain the main concern, especially around burn scars, low-lying areas and places that have already picked up recent rainfall.

High temperatures cool slightly by the middle of the week, with Colorado Springs dropping back into the 80s while Pueblo stays warmer.

The Rest of the Week: Daily storm chances continue Thursday, then gradually trend lower by late week as drier air starts to work back into Southern Colorado. Temperatures will begin climbing again, with highs near 90 for Colorado Springs and mid to upper 90s possible for Pueblo and the plains by Friday and Saturday.

The overall pattern stays warm, but the best opportunity for more widespread showers and thunderstorms looks to be Tuesday and Wednesday.
