I-25 reopened after mobile home fire blocked both directions

UPDATE: CDOT reports that Interstate 25 has been reopened after a mobile home fire blocked northbound and southbound lanes Thursday.

Earlier

A mobile fire on the interstate shut down I-25 southbound north of Greenland Exit 167. Right now traffic is detoured to Highway 105 in Monument to Highway 83.

I-25 northbound was closed for a short period of time, but then reopened.

The fire from the vehicle spread to the grass and the Douglas County Sheriff Dispatch says firefighters have the vehicle fire under control.

There is no estimated time of I-25 SB reopening.

This is a developing story and KRDO will bring you updates.
