Bonnaroo organizers bringing new music festival to Denver

It’s official, Denver’s Overland Park will play host to a multi-day music festival that’s being organized by the group behind some of the biggest festivals in the country.

Grandoozy is the festival’s name, and it’ll be happening from Sept. 14-16. Hype is already building for the lineup announcement coming on March 20.

Superfly unveiled the festival Thursday, and while tickets aren’t yet available, people can sign up to win VIP passes. Ticket prices will be announced at a later date.

Superfly also organizes Bonnaroo in Tennessee and Outside Lands in California; both of those festivals have historically drawn big-name international acts and tens of thousands of spectators.

Few other details were released, but we do know that three stages will be set up at Overland Park, and there will be a number of side attractions. It’s also a safe bet that there will be after-parties. But unlike Bonnaroo, camping won’t be an option at Grandoozy.
