Road closures expected this week on Pikes Peak Avenue
Heads up, Springs commuters, a section of Pikes Peak Avenue will be closed Tuesday night and again this weekend while crews work to relocate a water line.
From 8 p.m. Tuesday to 5 a.m. Wednesday, all eastbound lanes will be closed from Wahsatch Avenue to Institute Street, according to a news release from the city.
Then at 6 a.m. Saturday, all lanes on Pikes Peak Avenue will be closed from Institute to Wahsatch. That closure will be in place until 5 a.m. Monday. Detours will be marked, though access for residents will be maintained.
