Suspicious Device brought into Florence Police Department Turns out to be Geocache

The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office has cleared the scene after after a citizen brought a suspicious object they found into the Florence Police Department lobby.

The object turned out to be a geocache.

During the investigation, roads surrounding the the department were closed and neighbors were notified of the incident.

The Pueblo Bomb Squad also assisted in the investigation.
