Falcon home has ‘extensive damage’ after a grass fire burns through the area

When the Falcon Fire Department arrived to a house fire Sunday afternoon residence of the home were already trying to put it out.

Over an hour later the fire was contained and under control after burning an acre of grass. The Falcon Fire Department said they were unsure if the fire started in the grass or the house.

The home has extensive damage from the fire. No injuries were reported.

Fire on Buggy Whip is under control at this time. @FalconFireDept & mutual aid firefighters will remain on scene extinguishing hot spots. Extensive damage to one home. Approx 1 acre grass & a few trees burned. No injuries reported.
