More fire weather Sunday – 3/3/18

TONIGHT: Skies will be mostly clear tonight and overnight lows drop into the 30s. The high country will be feeling overnight lows in the teens. Things could remain a bit breezy over the mountains tonight.

EXTENDED: Tomorrow, a cold front moves into the area which will bring the high country chances for snow. A flurry or sprinkle is possible in some of our mountain cities with dry weather elsewhere. Strong downsloping will be occurring in the lower elevations, so this means another afternoon of highs in the 50s and 60s. Winds will be gusting between 40 and 50 mph. That being said, a wind alert level 2 will be in place. Relative humidity will be low tomorrow so Red Flags are in place once again. Monday could bring more windy weather before things quiet down through the middle of the week. Sunshine is expected right into next weekend.
