Former Colorado pastor charged with sexual abuse of 3 minors

A former pastor in Colorado is accused of sexually abusing three underage girls.

Joshua Clemons, 35, was arrested on Tuesday for a charge of sex assault of a child by a position of trust, according to the Denver Police Department.

Clemons worked as a pastor at the Crossroads Community Church in Parker, Colorado from 2006 to 2015.

According to KDVR in Denver, the church said it wasn’t aware of the accusations until February 1.

Clemons reportedly started a relationship in December with an 18-year-old who used to be a member of his youth group.

That woman’s mother came forward on February 1 and expressed concern to the church, saying their relationship may have started when her daughter was a minor.

No mugshot has been released.

The Denver Police Department believes there could be other victims. Anyone with information on this case or may have been involved can call the Parker PD at (303) 805-6561 or email bwilson@parkeronline.org.
