Bong, gun, alcohol found in Colorado Springs man’s SUV after crash

Colorado State Patrol troopers responded to a single-vehicle crash near Canon City, and now a Colorado Springs man faces criminal charges after alcohol, weed, and a bong were found in the SUV.

The crash happened Friday just east of Texas Creek on Highway 50. When troopers arrived, they found a loaded gun, an alcoholic beverage, and a bong with marijuana residue in it, according to a post on the agency’s Twitter.

CSP says a passenger in the SUV was taken to the hospital after reporting head and spine injuries.

The suspect’s identity and criminal charges weren’t listed in the social media post.
