A few flurries today – 02/23/18

Today: We’re tracking some areas of fog this morning. Where we see those low clouds develop, there could be some flurries with only minor accumulations at most. It’s tough to say exactly when those gloomy skies clear up. Later today, highs will reach the 30s and 40s – we stay chilly! This afternoon and tonight, we have more chances for some showers with little to no accumulations possible.

Tonight: Be prepared for the chance for some light-to-moderate snow tonight! This could be producing some slick spots. Overnight, flurries stick around. It will be gusty tomorrow morning as well thanks to a cold front. Gusts could blow up to the 30s and 40s! That’s worthy of a wind alert level one. However, winds are expected to subside during or shortly after sunrise. Early Saturday, temperatures drop to the teens under mostly cloudy skies.

Extended: We’ll be sunnier Saturday afternoon. Quieter weather is anticipated Sunday. Monday and Tuesday, it could be breezy with elevated fire danger. Our following chances for snow will return Wednesday.
