Victim identified in Penrose homicide, sheriff’s office investigating

We now know that the suspicious death found by the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office Tuesday is being investigated as a homicide.

The sheriff’s office identified 57-year-old John Allen Alderman as the victim in the investigation, but we don’t yet know how he died.

Alderman was found dead in a Penrose home, prompting the investigation. The sheriff’s office hasn’t released any other information, and we don’t know if they have any information about a suspect.

Fremont County deputies say a suspicious death found Tuesday is being investigated in Penrose.

According to a news release sent out, deputies arrived on the scene and confirmed there was a dead body. Fremont County investigators were then called to help with the case.

No other details were provided by the sheriff’s office, and we don’t know where the body was found. The sheriff’s office hasn’t said if this is a homicide investigation.
