Szechuan Sauce to return to McDonald’s nationwide on Feb. 26

Rick and Morty fans rejoice, Szechuan Sauce is coming back to Colorado and all other McDonald’s locations nationwide at the end of February.

On Monday, February 26, the fast-food chain will release 20 million packets to customers across the U.S.

This comes after lovers of the show stood in a line for hours at various McDonald’s locations back in October only to find out that the company did not make enough to meet the demand.

“We did not anticipate the overnight crowds, the cross-state travel, and the amazing curiosity, passion and energy fans showed,” said Debbie Fitzgerald with Fitzgerald Petersen Comm. “We disappointed fans and we are sorry. To fully make amends, we felt it was important to not only bring back much more sauce this time but to also admit our mistakes.”
