Roller coaster road conditions in Colorado Springs Tuesday

It was a roller coaster of road conditions throughout Tuesday in Southern Colorado.

“It’s been a little crazy,” driver Beth Martinez said.

“I went the sides roads and it took me almost an hour to get down there, it was miserable,” driver Jessica Tzitzicas said.

From a dicey morning commute to nearly clear roads in the afternoon, drivers saw a wide range of conditions in the city.

Snow flurries returned in the evening commute leaving roads with a light dusting of snow.

Leaving drivers preparing for Wednesday morning’s commute.

“I’ll take my wife to work and we’ll commute that way instead of taking the cars, just for road traction and safety,” Kenlyn Evelyn said. “As much as it’s good to see it (snow) you know, you got to be prepared for it.”
