Pueblo PD searching for man accused of assaulting an elderly man

Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man accused of assaulting a business owner in Pueblo.

On January 19, 2018, the suspect entered the business located in the 900 block of West Street in Pueblo and allegedly assaulted the owner, sending him to the hospital. The owner has since been released and is recovering.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 5’08” to 5’10” tall, around 180 pounds with long straight dark hair. During the assault, he was using a gray crutch for his right leg. One witness described his voice as being deeper and distinct. He was wearing black pants, black jacket, and a gray or light-colored shirt under his jacket.
