Chicago police officers arrest man on train for lighting self on fire

A 28-year-old man was arrested after lighting himself on fire on a Chicago train last month, and the whole incident was caught on a security camera.

It happened last month when David Ferguson was contacted by police for acting erratically while spilling paint thinner on the train.

The officers tried to detain Ferguson, but a scuffle ensued and they went to the floor. That’s when the paint thinner ignited and flames shot up. The officers were able to get out with Ferguson in custody.

Ferguson faces charges of aggravated arson and aggravated battery to a police officer.
