Brush fire seen in between Colorado Springs & Falcon extinguished

Crews responded to a brush fire in between Falcon and Colorado Springs on Wednesday afternoon.

The 32-acre fire was burning in Highway 24 and Garrett, just south of Falcon. Dodge Road was closed for a couple of hours.

Crews had begun the mom-up process at around 4 p.m.

Fortunately, there was no property damage and no one was injured.

The cause is still under investigation.

Seven fire agencies were on the scene working to extinguish the flames.
