Mostly cloudy and breezy – 02/12/18
Today: Mostly cloudy skies are expected across southern Colorado. It will be breezy, too! In fact, a wind alert level one is in effect. We could get gusts into the 30s – primarily near New Mexico and the southeastern corner of the state. Temperatures will be warmer compared to yesterday; even still, it will be brisk! Keep the jacket handy. We have a small chance for seeing some sprinkles in the Pikes Peak region. However, most of those showers and storms will be taking place over the Continental Divide and the surrounding peaks.
Tonight: Mainly clear to partly cloudy skies are anticipated into early Tuesday morning. Lows drop to the 20s.
Extended: Temperatures rebound to the 50s on Tuesday. We’re getting ready for more sunshine for tomorrow as well. Temperatures soar further on Wednesday due to strong, westerly, downsloping winds. On Thursday, we have a slight chance for a few showers. Beyond that, we’re expecting some breezy conditions from time-to-time.
