Thousands line streets of Colorado Springs for funeral procession of Deputy Micah Flick

After the funeral service for fallen Deputy Micah Flick, concluded at New Life Church, law enforcement officers who attended led a large procession from the church to Woodmen and Meridian in Falcon.

Thousands of people posted along the procession route, all the way down the 13 mile stretch.

Everyone braved the cold and snow to make sure Deputy Flick’s family, and the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office knew just how much this loss is felt.

Some of those who attended, like Freddie Garcia, knew Flick personally, and wanted to make sure he came out to show his support.

“El Paso County, and all law-enforcement officers: our hearts are with you,” said Garcia. “Thank you for your bravery each and every day and to Rachael and the twins, we send our love.”

If you are still looking for ways to send your support, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Foundation is collecting donations for the Flick Family.

They can be sent to: 1980 Dominion Way, Ste. 200, Colorado Springs, CO 80918.
