Weather Alert Saturday 2-9-18

TONIGHT: Cold air and low clouds continue moving in as another surge of deeper cold air arrives. Lows fall to the teens with wind chills likely below zero in spots. Areas of freezing drizzle and flurries will also remain possible mainly over the Eastern Plains.

TOMORROW: Some ongoing flurries and freezing drizzle will be possible early before changing to all snow for the afternoon. Snow is expected to begin over the Palmer Divide by late morning then spread from north to south across Southern Colorado through Saturday evening. Snow will be ending across the region early Sunday. Accumulations of 1 to 4 inches look likely for most areas. Temps remain cold, only warming as high as the 20s.

EXTENDED: Snow comes to an end Sunday with drier air arriving and skies clearing. Some sunshine will allow temps to be a little warmer, with highs in the 30s and 40s. Temps warm even more for Monday before a dry cold front comes through Tuesday knocking back those temperatures once again. Windy conditions arrive for Wednesday but the week stays fairly quiet at this point. We’ll track any changes and keep you updated!
