More storms possible, followed by a hotter and drier weekend

KRDO

Tonight we will see a good chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly east of the I-25 Corridor. It will be a breezy evening with winds out of the southwest at around 5 to 10 mph. Overnight lows will fall into the low 60s for most areas.

Friday will bring us another chance of showers and storms. We will have to watch for the potential for flash flooding over the burn scar areas once again. Temperatures will be slightly cooler, with highs in the upper 80s for most areas.

Saturday and Sunday will bring hotter and drier weather for most of us here in southern Colorado. It will be a breezy weekend with highs in the lower 90s.

Our chance for showers and storms returns for Monday and Tuesday. Expect highs near 90 degrees.
