Mild today with wintry weather Saturday – 02/08/18

Today: Highs will reach the 50s and 60s across southern Colorado. Partly sunny skies are expected. It will be noticeably warmer compared to yesterday, and the weather should be quite beautiful and mild. Get outside and enjoy these lovely conditions!

Tonight: Overnight lows tumble to the 20s and 30s under partly cloudy skies.

Extended: Temperatures will cool slightly Friday due to an incoming cold front; however, the exact timing and extent of the front is tricky to forecast. Saturday afternoon, another cold front sweeps through southern Colorado. This will drop temperatures to the 30s under cloudy skies. Saturday afternoon through early Sunday, we have chances to light-to-moderate snow. It could even come down heavily from time-to-time! Minor accumulations and slushy, slick roads are possible.
