Beautiful day and sunny later – 02/07/18

Today: Buckle up for a simply gorgeous day across southern Colorado! Temperatures will be crisp, reaching the 40s and 50s in the lower elevations. We’ll deal with mostly sunny skies once our fog clears with light winds.

Tonight: Lows tumble to the 20s and 30s under mostly clear skies. Winds shouldn’t be an issue, and we’ll have quiet conditions.

Extended: We stay dry through Friday; however, changes arrive this weekend! Our first push of cooler air arrives Friday afternoon. Our following cold front speeds through Colorado Saturday afternoon, dropping temperatures to the 30s and 40s and sparking some rain and snow. Minor accumulations are possible with some travel impacts. Snow should clear out Sunday morning. It stays cold Sunday and warms to the 40s and 50s Monday. Snow could make a comeback on Tuesday.
