Winter weather prompts school delays

Overnight winter weather has prompted some districts across southern Colorado to delay classes Tuesday morning.

Here are the schools affected:

Widefield 3: Closed

Fountain-Ft. Carson Dist. 8: 2 Hours Late, No AM preschool. Buses will pick up two hours later than normal schedule. Staff to report two hours later than normal report time.

Cheyenne Mountain School District 12: 2 Hours Late.

St. Paul Catholic School: 2 Hours Late.

Fremont Co. Head Start: No bus service.

Ellicott 22: 2 Hours Late, No AM preschool. No PPCC, No International Beauty Salon, No Calhan Program Buses.

The Vanguard School: 2 Hours Late

Security Public Library: Closed
