Man wanted by Colorado Springs police for sexual assault, attempted murder

The Colorado Springs Police Department is looking for a 30-year-old man accused of sexually assaulting and beating a woman last month.

Police said the victim reported being physically and sexually assaulted on Jan. 31, and investigators identified the suspect as Ryan Altman.

Altman was described as a white man standing about 5’8″ and weighing about 180 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes and a sleeve tattoo on his right arm. CSPD said a photo would be released later.

Police say Altman’s location isn’t known at the time, but an arrest warrant has been issued for sexual assault and attempted second-degree murder.
