What happened after an El Paso County deputy was killed in Colorado Springs
Two El Paso County deputies and a Colorado Springs officer wounded in a shooting were transported to Memorial Central Hospital on Monday afternoon.
Hours later, that’s where a procession started to transport Deputy Micah Flick’s body to the El Paso County Coroner’s Office.
This comes after an investigation into a vehicle theft at the Murray Hill Apartments turned deadly.

At last report, the Colorado Springs officer was in surgery and was in stable condition. We’ve reached out to the Sheriff’s Office and the hospital to try to get the conditions of the two other injured deputies. Although their conditions are unknown tonight, what we do know is that the community is already coming together.
Hundreds showed out for Deputy Flick’s procession on Monday night.
