Quiet weather ahead – 1/22/18

TONIGHT: Skies will be mostly clear as we go through the overnight. It will be another cold evening and our lows will drop into the teens and 20s. The high country and low lying areas will potentially feel lows in the single digits.

EXTENDED: The long range forecast looks very quiet. Lots of sunshine is expected over the next few days with a gradual warm up into the 50s and 60s by Thursday thanks to strong winds from the west. This will also ramp up the fire danger. Our next system comes through on Friday. Right now it looks as though this could bring a few snow showers to some of our mountain cities. Otherwise, things look relatively dry and cool with a bit more cloud cover. Sunshine returns Saturday through Monday with highs climbing back into the 50s by Monday afternoon.
