Man wanted for weekend shooting arrested in Colorado Springs after barricading himself in house
The Colorado Springs Police Department arrested a suspect wanted for a weekend shooting who barricaded himself at Cheyenne Meadows and Penny Royal in Southwest Colorado Springs Monday afternoon.
Police detained Christopher Michael Martinez, the suspect connected to the Easy Street shooting on Saturday.

A Neighbor told KRDO the suspect stole a silver pickup and took it to his dad’s house and then barricaded himself inside.

KRDO is on the scene at Hickory Hill Drive. CSPD closed off the street and a quarter mile radius around Hickory Dr. Authorities are asking residents in the area to stay inside and lock the doors.
